The congregation was chartered in 1927. It began to grow rapidly in the years after World War II. The church reported 125 members in 2015 and 117 members in 2023; no membership statistics were reported in 2024 parochial reports. Plate and pledge income reported for the congregation in 2024 was $31,021. Average Sunday attendance (ASA) in 2024 was 20 persons.
The current building was designed by Edward D. Dart and constructed in 1958 Praised for the mid-century modern style, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.
