Clarksburg Downtown Historic District

Clarksburg Downtown Historic District is a national historic district located at Clarksburg, Harrison County, West Virginia, U.S. The district encompasses 119 contributing buildings in 16 blocks of the central business district of Clarksburg. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. The district includes an extraordinary variety of architectural types and styles, most of them dating from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Prominent examples include Renaissance Revival and Italianate commercial and civic buildings, along with church, government, and institutional structures that reflect Clarksburg's development as a regional center for law, banking, trade, and transportation.
