Nine Mile Prairie

Nine-Mile Prairie is a 230-acre (0.93 km2) tract of conserved tallgrass prairie in Lancaster County, Nebraska. It is named for its location five miles west and four miles north of downtown Lincoln and is one of the largest virgin tallgrass prairies in the United States. Nine-Mile Prarie was added the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
